1. Possible Universe Consideration: VVI consists of several investment desks including technology, healthcare, industrials, media & telecommunication, energy & utilities, consumer goods, and REGLL. Investment teams sitting on each of these desks will analyze trends in their chosen sector and limit their search to publicly traded companies based in the U.S. that fall within their select coverage category.

2. Company Screening: To limit the universe of possible equities, teams are trained to search for several desirable companies using a variety of screening criteria and professional financial databases like SEC EDGAR, FactSet, Bloomberg, and FinViz. Following initial research, the team will meet and choose a business to pitch and begin working.

3. Investment Pitch: Each week, a different team will present a thorough investment pitch during our fund meetings with an associated slide deck and financial model. These pitches are completed over 3-4 weeks and are designed to approach investments with a rigorous combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis using DCF, Comparables, and NAV style valuation techniques. 4. Anti-Pitch & Discussion: Every buy pitch will have an associated anti-pitch. This added system provides a contrarian view of the business and a need for deep diligence prior to the pitch on the part of the pitch team. Following the anti-pitch, the general club will ask questions, discuss, and verbally debate before voting on the pitch.

5. Investment Decision: Pitches are thoughtfully and honestly discussed before being voted on by the wider club, then the investment committee, and finally by our executive board before making an investment decision. Each position is evaluated for risk using defined limits on sector exposure, volatility, and liquidity. Post-pitch feedback reviews ensure the thesis remains valid and informs rebalancing decisions.
